The I-69 Contract 4 Project Summary

The I-69 Section 6 Contract 4 is a 17-mile interstate project from Martinsville, IN to Indianapolis, IN. Rieth-Riley is the lead contractor in the Rieth-Riley/Crider & Crider joint venture. This project includes portions of:

 

  • Full-depth asphalt construction
  • Asphalt overlay
  • Full depth concrete construction
  • Two new interchanges
  • Reconstruction of the mainline bridges throughout the corridor

Once completed, the project will upgrade SR 37 to FHWA interstate standards. Rieth-Riley will build 11 of the 22 bridges and place 400,000 tons of asphalt on the I-69 Contract 4 project. 

Crider & Crider, our JV partner, will move 2,300,000 CYS of dirt, place 26,000 LFT of waterline, and 10,000 LFT of storm pipe. E&B Paving will be building 9 of the remaining bridges, placing 400,000 SYS of concrete pavement, and 400,000 tons of asphalt.
