Rieth-Riley operates modern recycling plants and crushing operations for disposed of asphalt and concrete materials. These materials are crushed and then sized for recycle use. Crushed and sized asphalt materials are utilized in new asphalt supply materials adhering to allowable percentages governed by the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) standards and specifications for asphalt mix designs. Recycled concrete materials are processed and sized and are available for use as an aggregate base or fill material. Recycling asphalt and concrete benefits the environment, can be a cost savings to customers and may qualify Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
