We just wanted to express our appreciation for a job well done by Rieth-Riley Construction, Co., Inc. in the resurfacing of E. 206th Street a few months back. Everything they did was so considerate to us as homeowners. Each part of the process was executed quickly and professionally from the actual road work to the flagmen. The end result was something to be proud of. We believe they went over and above in everything they did.
Thank you for making this process as painless as possible! We appreciate it very much.
I just wanted to say, thank you to the Kent County Road commission and Rieth-Riley for being so patient and kind to my son Kyle. Answering questions, smiling and waving and giving him a hat. While fixing and repaving our roads. Kyle's big brother and best friend died three months ago from the same disease that keeps Kyle from walking. Their favorite thing to do together was watch construction and big trucks. It was a very big deal for Kyle to do this all alone, but your thoughtfulness put such a smile on Kyle's face all week. Each night he came to us with fact after fact that he learned from everyone. Because of your kindness and time, we have seen him more happy than we have in months. We appreciate all you do and the difference you have made for Kyle's life.

I want to recognize several of your employees who were involved in this 2018 project. First of all Todd Gosc, who I have worked with previously and what I consider to be a tremendous asset to your business. Regardless of how busy he might be Todd always returns calls and remains in contact during the project .
Supervisor Joe Dailey and his job assistant Andy Bailey, (hope I have their names correct) are two great individuals and representatives of Rieth and their commitment to customer satisfaction, they go the extra mile.
Finally, I also want to mention Denny Trop, Jeff Wilfong and Tracey Halliday. Jeff was quick to assist me on the backhoe when I had an issue and all three are hard working and great people to work with.
I had very positive comments from the residents in Town and it was a pleasure to once again have Rieth-Riley involved in a major project here.
Susan H. Reseau, Town Road Superintendent
After a project is complete, our clients and sometimes community residents are often kind enough to share some feedback on our workmanship. Here are just a few appreciated remarks.
I want to take the time to thank you and your crew for installing a new driveway in the front of our church on Michigan street. The work was excellent and the driveway looks great. Our church membership especially wants to thank you for allowing the state grant to be used to install the new driveway entrance to the church. Each week our church parking lot is used for many community meetings, day care parents dropping off their children, Sunday services, youth group gatherings, and community events such as a blood drive and food pantry, where our church is used by members of the La Porte community. As you may know, the church is a non-for profit ministry and dollars are scarce to run all the ministries of the church. On behalf of all the members of the church, we thank you for your generous kindness to use the state grant to pay for the resurfacing of our church entrance driveway.

Thank you so much to all who worked on the MDOT roads this year! Especially M-43 which I use everyday. It is so much better because of your work.
A Nelson Ave. resident
I just want to say that I appreciate the work to repave M-43 from 131 to downtown Kalamazoo. I believe it is the smoothest paving project I have ever seen. Everything seemed so well coordinated. There was minimal disruption to traffic. I enjoyed how they did one half and later completed the second half later as other projects were finished. It allowed enjoyment of the new part of the road being smooth and usable around the major business district hassle free all summer long. Now that the last half is completed, it just makes me smile to think how much construction was done and I actually enjoyed watching the progress and did not feel annoyed about delays....because they were minimal compared to the fantastic results for the effort. Everything from closing and opening lanes as needed was very well handled. I really have to commend the crew doing the work. Please extend my thanks for a job well done.
Rieth-Riley's professional expertise and efforts to coordinate with Bowen and complete the improvements in a construction period of just over 3 months was critical to the success of the project. Despite facing challenges that any construction project is bound to incur, Rieth-Riley's staff kept their schedule commitments and looked for opportunities to push work forward while being respectful to facilities and businesses within the project limites, keeping disruption to a minimum.
We look forward to repeated success on future road projects with Rieth-Riley.

My experience this year with Rieth-Riley was outstanding, and I would like to share with you why.
This year, I had the pleasure of meeting Ed Pilipow, Joseph Jones, Tom Martin and Dennis, your concrete foreman. From day one, Ed was very thorough investing the time necessary to gain a clear understanding of our bid process and billing procedures. In all of our meetings, he reaffirmed his sincerely desire to serve the city and always do what is right. I think some would say that our annual paving work is unique, but when Ed was transferred, Joe picked up the ball and insured a smooth transition.
Concrete items can get challenging especially when we are retrofitting curb ramps and trying to meet ADA guidelines. Dennis made himself available to understand our expectations and style preferences. We met several times onsite to layout the job prior to commencing. I think this was very helpful and avoided misunderstandings.
I cannot compliment Tom Martin enough. He is a man full of integrity ' I never doubted his intentions and always knew that he had the city's best interest in mind. I relied on his experience and wisdom repeatedly when selecting the final scope of work and adjusting to tackle unforeseen issues. When I was disappointed with workmanship (a few rare cases), he never offered excuses but instead accepted responsibility and corrected the issue. I know that Tom was incredibly busy, but he promptly answered my text and calls, to the point that I wondered how he had time while juggling everything else.
Although I could continue complimenting other members of your team, I would like to mention the work of your paving crew. Dave and his crew worked hard to insure a smooth, tight surface that drained properly. I have received numerous compliments on the workmanship of our downtown pavement, and while it is a team effort, I know that Dave's drive for excellence insured that the city received his best. That you for sending his team to our city!

To the construction team working on the US-131 Hamilton County Road Project at State Road 32 in Westfield on September 5, 2014. We cannot begin to express what the kind gestures of all of the workers as we passed during Howard's funeral procession meant to our family. After a beautiful service where many paid tribute to him, seeing the hard hats held over hearts and the excavator's bucket lowered was such an unexpected and appropriate final tribute.
Thanks to all of you, we will forever have that heartfelt memory.
The Family of Howard 'Pete' Peterson
Thanks to all the employees of Rieth-Riley that were involved in an emergency closure of the right lane of I-94 on August 22, 2014. Their efforts were a shining example of how a coordinated response can prevent or alleviate dangerous situations. Rieth-Riley's employees should be applauded for their immediate reaction and assistance in repairing the roadway.
Indiana Department of Transportation
Rieth-Riley did a remarkable job removing and replacing the asphalt in the parking lot for our project with Seelye Auto. They worked weekends to complete this project while Seelye Auto kept car sales going. They were faced with the challenge to open up areas to pave while keeping customers viewing vehicles always accessible. Rieth-Riley handled this challenge with professionalism and their staging to complete their paving around all the activities was well planned. They did an excellent job on our project and we will definitely use them again in the future.

THANK YOU for the EXCELLENT repaving job! When I first drove onto the new pavement at the beginning of the project, it felt as if I was floating. The porous pavement is a great addition and upgrade of the paved area. The contractors really did a FANTASTIC job on this one!
Maureen Houghton, Michigan DNR Parks and Recreation
On behalf of INDOT and motorists traveling through west central Indiana - I want to express my gratitude for the quick response of Rieth Riley crews to repair the pavement following the tragic fuel tanker crash that destroyed a large portion of roadway. Your Crews arrived at midnight and worked throughout the night to have the road open by 7:15 AM. The efforts of your team exceeded our expectations and are another example of the quality of your firm. Rieth-Riley is a valued INDOT partner, and I thank you for your dedication to keeping our Indiana roads safe.
Troy Woodruff, INDOT Chief of Staff
In my job as a police officer I have the advantage of being on the street all day and was able to observe first hand the work Rieth-Riley provided. Not only did they fix the road but also during that time provided traffic control to keep the flow of traffic moving forward. This smooth transition kept vehicle movement safe, in addition to keeping pedestrians and work crews safe. Thank you for your commitment to making South Bend a great place to live.
Derek Dieter, South Bend City Council President
On behalf of Griffith Public Schools Central Office Administration, teach staff and students, I would like to express our appreciation for your professionalism, workmanship and product quality during your recent project in our district.
Rick Flutka, Director
I would like to thank your company estimator for helping us with our paving project. His knowledge of paving and pavement specifications was helpful in making sure the village was getting the best quality work for their money. He even stopped by during the paving process to make sure the job was going well. I would also like to give thanks to the paving crew for a job well done.
William P. Carson, Village of Boyne Falls President
Wow - what a difference! I would like to thank the entire crew that was involved in making the project successful. It is, has and always will be an honor and pleasure working with Rieth-Riley. As supervisor of Warren County Highway Department, I cannot say enough about the advice and other help you have given to Warren County and me.
Michael J. Jackson, Supervisor
Rieth-Riley recently completed the repaving project in our neighborhood. I am really pleased with the total results. What also impressed me was the total professionalism of the crew and leaders that accomplished the work. Their dedication to doing the job right the first time ensured that the street should last well into the next century.
Walt Sherman, Resident
As the street construction and landscaping are completed and the underpass is fully opened to traffic I want to thank Rieth-Riley construction of South Bend, Indiana, and their subcontractors for their commitment of meeting each construction milestone deadline and for maintaining the construction schedule to enable this project to open on time and on budget.?
Mayor Jeff Rea, Mishawaka, Indiana
I wanted to reach out to you regarding the performance of your company on our Paving Project at Duke Energy in Plainfield. I have been very impressed with the professionalism, responsiveness and overall quality that your team has displayed out here for a very demanding client in Duke Energy. Sam, Kevin, and Mr. Tuddy have given this project the attention and resources required and have been able to deliver a quality product on schedule, and SAFELY, during a challenging time of year to perform pavement work. Mike Stahley, Greg Odle, Dennis Demoss and Jerry Ferris have also given 110% on this project and it has not gone un-noticed by Terracon or by Duke Energy. I feel it is very important to give credit where credit is due and wanted to make sure you were aware of some of the quality people you have on your team. Once again, thank you for providing us with top notch employees from the field to the office.
Jake Woody, Assistant Project Manager, Terracon
